Fall and Delicious Apple Pies!
We’ve been having fun talking about fall! The colours, the smell, the sound of crunching leaves under our feet... all these things remind us that fall is in the air! We completed a beautiful art project that had us using fall colours, and crunching tinfoil (which is the same sound as crunching leaves), and dabbing our painted tinfoil to make fall foliage on our tree! Although the school wide Terry Fox run happened in the afternoon, we had a great time creating our own run/walk for a good cause! Students are sure enjoying wearing all the colours each week. We are learning a colour song (which teaches your child how to spell the word), and we are also learning the sign language gesture for each colour.
