Happy St. Patricks Day!

A fun week celebrating St. Patrick's Day! Students enjoyed making their leprechaun catchers with their grade 7 buddies! They were very creative! I saw rainbows out of pipe cleaners, stairs made out of popsicle sticks and glue piles to try and get the leprechauns to get "stuck" in their boxes! 

The bread lady came to our class on Thursday! Special thank you to the 3 parents for joining us! I hope everyone enjoyed the loaf of bread that each student brought home! This was a hands on morning  where students were able to mix and stir the ingredients, and put their loaf of bread in the oven! 

On Friday morning, the students came in to see that the leprechaun had visited our classroom. Some were disappointed to open their traps and see NO leprechaun, but most were pretty excited to see a special green coin and a gold chocolate coin from the leprechaun!
