Library visit and Winter trees

Students enjoyed meeting Carlene from the library. They listened to several stories about winter coming.

We then talked about what it starts looking like outside when winter is here. They responded right away that the trees lose their leaves. We made some beautiful winter trees by using black paint and making a tree trunk and branches, and then using their pointer finger dipped in white paint to create snow on the branches. They all turned out so unique, and beautiful!

Students also enjoyed getting ready for pizza making by making "paper pizzas" with their buddies, and choosing what ingredients they would like on their pizza! See below the variety of different pizzas!
